The Mundane Situations of Chestnut + Hazel # 37

I went to best buy the other day. I was on my way to Walmart but there was a best buy on the way, so i went to best buy instead. I think i was not really intending to buy anything. But i wanted to look at something. I didn't buy anything. There is this huge gulf between what i want and what i want to pay. I think i don't really want to pay more than 300 or so for a device, but many of the devices i wanted were in the 1500 dollar range.

It occurred to me that i wouldn't really benefit from another device :The main challenge I'm facing is that i don't really have a good Internet connection.

I've been wanting to buy a new laptop for a while now, but I just don't see how it would be useful. Maybe I could play newer games, but they are such a waste of time, or they are so time consuming. and what I really need is an internet connection that I can access anywhere. and isn't metered. I think I burned through 3 GB of hotspot data just doing my nightly budgeting.

The guy I talked to at Best Buy suggested Starlink, but they didn't have a display for it, or I couldn't seem to find it anywhere.
