I haven't written anything in a while, mostly because I've just been too busy, and partly because, I guess, If I'm busy there isn't anything to write about. You know. If I'm busy I don't have time to write about stuff, and if I'm busy there is also less stuff to write about.
It's basically almost the end of summer. and I think that my last post was at the beginning of summer. Reflecting on what happened. At some point during the Spring 2025 semester I determined that my ROI on my classes was below my expectations and I really had to cut my losses at the lowest possible cost. In this case the return is the grade, and the investment is the time I spend on coursework. I changed my enrollment status in one class to Audit, and basically stopped spending any more time on that, and for the other class I basically invested the minimum amount of time required to pass.
After the end of the Spring semester I really hesitated to enroll in courses for the Fall 2025 semester. Somewhere in the back of my mind I'm not sure if this is really the highest and best use of my time and effort.
