Thursday was kind of a nightmare. I started rideshare driving somewhat early, but there kind of wasn't anything coming in, for hours, so I basically cut the day short and went home, figuring that I could probably do something else. Unfortunately I didn't really do anything else; I don't think that I really got anything done that day. Laundry was really the only thing I got done, and laundry isn't really anything that takes up too much time: the cycles take forever, but the only time really expended is the amount of time loading and unloading laundry from the washer and dryer. The value of folding clothes has somewhat questionable value outside of, you know, for anyone who doesn't do like, you know, white collar work.
So Thursday was a disaster: there wasn't much work, and then I didn't get other types of tasks done, and today is Sunday, and I'm not really sure I'm getting much done right now. There is an economic cost to hanging out on Sunday, even if there isn't an accounting costs to hanging out on Sunday.
The Spring 2026 semester is almost over, so in a way it kind of makes sense to reallocate my time to finishing up, but it's still kind of a nightmare that I'm taking the day off and not really getting anything done.
