The Mundane Situations of Chestnut + Hazel # 2

This is another day where I really don't think I got anything done. Well - it's already tomorrow. It's already Thursday. I remember this weekend wanting to get a whole bunch - well, not a whole bunch - but I wanted to get two things done over the weekend, and I only got one of those things done, this case brief still isn't done.

Every advantage I gain seems to vanish shortly after I gain it, even with trying to get ahead. In previous semesters I took a different approach to studying and assignments: I would basically start and complete things the same day, or the day before they were due, using most of my time to work, but since my whole job right now is basically writing my autobiography, well, I guess I can prioritize getting my coursework done first, and - what I'm hoping to do is start the Summer early.

I continued to build the greatest company on the player map that the world has ever known! NOW WE ARE MAKING WOODEN TOYS AND NEWSPAPERS! who knows what other great products the company will eventually make!

While building out the city of Bergen I realized that there was a whole ton of people without jobs, I tried building better transportation, and even creating more jobs, but they are still unemployed. I don't know what to do.

I decided to take this company beyond groceries, and into the business to Lumber, Furniture, Children's Toys, and GROCERIES! We have eggs, by the way!

Rebuilding my Region after deleting the entire thing and uninstalling the game. Turns out there was nothing to worry about, and the virus scan came back with no threats detected, anyway: starting over and building a new region without mods.

I noticed that Joshua always destroys his cities, so I DESTROYED THE CITY!

There is an issue with traffic and how traffic volume affects farms, so I created a massive road with a whole bunch of toll booths to cut down on traffic near farms. I think that I'm going to take some other approach.

The town of Skillman is built as a suburb of the City of York, once Skillman is established and well built up, the people of York decide that more high-density housing is needed to accommodate the growing regional economy. The mayor of Skillman is a former bond trader, and as the mayor of Skillman, he often issues municipal bonds that his town has absolutely no need for.

Continued developments of Highways in Chicago, and they might finally be complete, and a few, high density neighborhoods are being build in York that the people of the nation are surely to love!

Working on Redevelopment of several cities. Redevelopment is always more. or usually more boring that new development, or maybe it's just more involved.

I removed the demand boost and demand maximizing mods to see how my region develops; I can already see that I might not really like the gameplay at this point because the first city that I built after removing the mods was too specialized, it was all 2 zone types.

I decided to build Las Vegas, and it wasn't going well at first. I had to borrow a ton of money, and I started running a huge budget deficit. So I had to do what I had to do: build fast to close the gap. Everything turned out haphazard, but closing that budget deficit was priority # 1, and I fixed it. I figured that I could fix the layout as soon as I closed the budget gap. We will see where this goes. This was one of the few times I've started a city without a money cheat activated, so, I guess I have to be more prudent, but I do like seeing a city develop in a way that isn't just a series of squares as city blocks.

The Republic of Rome heads to Spain to subdue the local tribes before their rich enemies, the Carthaginians do! Will the Romans get rich? and how many Romans will die trying? Only time will tell.

This actually didn't go very well, every time I tried to start a battle, my computer crashed, so I guess my computer can't really handle this game.

This is an old video, probably from the middle of 2020. I thought that my video recorder was on to capture the process of painting a mural, but, well, it wasn't on and this was my reaction.

I added a number of mods from the Steam Workshop to make playing this game easier, but it still wasn't easy!

Out in the Black Sea Regions there is a rising power named Cimmeria! a group of Greek colonists who are hanging out with nomads and other barbarians!

During the Cessetanian Wars of 250 BC, Lucius Libo seeks to further his career by capturing the city of Tarraco.

This process was something of a nightmare. I couldn't get the images of the featured posts to look right, so I went with a different theme in the end, I actually liked the replacement theme over the original theme.

Sometimes I have to send members of the Dynasty into the meat grinder, they can't be part of the top 1/10th of the 1% if the Dynasty's headcount exceeds 1/10 of 1% of the total population. It's the rules!

Rome Total War 2, Rise of the Republic DLC: Syracuse takes Sicily This has narrations to explain the decisions I made while playing the game.

These barbarians have no idea how civilized the Romans are! and they have no idea how strong civilized people can be! they will soon find out!

These guys had no idea what was going to happen, they were not prepared, and fortune favors the prepared! That is why preparation is key!

Rome is at war with the Greek Black Sea colony of Massalia, will the glorious Julian Dynasty be victorious in capturing their capitol?

If the Carthaginians knew what was good for them, they would surrender right away and make themselves Client States of the Powerful Roman Republic of Italy!

Athens is probably one of the greatest cities that the Greeks will ever build, and in this case, the Romans will take this city, and put it into their empire!

Attempting to Migrate from WordPress Local to GitHub Pages. I'm testing to see if its possible to take a WordPress Local web project, and migrate the project to GitHub Pages. I think that it' possible, but more time-consuming than I can handle. I'm going to continue trying it anyway, but it seems like it's a ton of work. This involves replaces a lot of links that are .local with links that are .github.io, and it's really taking a long time. It's a page that I don't think anyone will spend much time looking at, so I'm hesitant to spend too much time doing this.

An unsuccessful assault on the City of Ephesus during the early part of the wars against the Spartan Empire.

The Romans have had a hard time subduing the Macedonian kingdom, as though Alexander the Great himself has been running the defense of Pella, the Macedonian Capital, but the City. Will Fall! Macedon Will Submit!

There is unrest in the Balkans, and marble, which the Roman Republic will need as it replaces its buildings that were once made with brick, into new buildings made out of marble. So that's why this conquest is going to take place, Rome Needs Marble! and Rome! Will! Get It!
