There was kind of a weird thing that happened today. I was on my way to get something to eat when I saw a cat struggling to cross the road. The roads in this area are six lanes deep, and it's something like one-hundred and thirty degrees outside. I wasn't going to take the cat home or anything: I was just thinking I would pick the cat up off the road and put it back on the sidewalk beneath a tree or something, but after parking my car, and getting a piece of cardboard to put the cat on, someone ran the cat over, and it was sort of obvious that they did it intentionally. I continued to pick up the cat after that person ran it over, and carried the cat to the side of the road and left it in the shade of a bush.
