So this was the most time consuming and exhausting way to lose fifty cents I've ever encountered.
I'm just sending one share back and forth throughout the day, or at least that's what I'm trying to do. The idea is to get this right so that as some point I can work with ten or one-hundred shares per trade.
I've been trying to get this to work since last year, but at some point my account was restricted for 90 days. Due to the t + 2 settlement rule, you can really only churn half the number of shares you are holding in your portfolio, so in this case I can only churn 190 shares per day, but in a few weeks this will be changed to t + 1, meaning I can churn the full number of shares I'm holding on any given business day.
