Here is the thing I want to ask people who enjoy music and poetry: do you listen to music that is titled? or numbered? do you read poetry that is titled? or numbered?

I don’t prefer number poetry. But I have read Emily Dickerson’s numbered sonnets.

I haven't thought about reading number poetry. Thanks for the idea. I'm reading Horace's Odes. And they are numbered. How are your vitamin needs?

I know Emily Dickenson worked with fixed forms. I didn't know she wrote sonnets. I'll look into it.

I like the spoken poetry of Allen Ginsberg. I like Modernist poetry the most, I really enjoyed “Strawberrying” by May Swenson, “next to of course god America I” by EE Cummings, and after studying it enough “The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock” by TS Eliot.

that’s awesome. Unfortunately, I myself, don’t seek out reading poetry. what I have read, albeit also enjoyed, has been from my school lessons and read out of the anthologies I had to purchase for my classes. I did, however, purchase Rupi Kaur’s “Milk and Honey” because at one point I felt as though I could relate to her poems on an extreme level.

😂
the Kodak refers to a picture he sent me where his eye was bruised - and that’s when he started to come onto me. In the end of the poem you can see the relation to him dating me and having a girlfriend.

probably because it’s more personal. But I like the word flow. Tuesday’s were the days we got together. In the final lines the words “lie disguised” can be used to mean lie as in lie down or lie as in telling a lie. The word disguised also helps bring that on.
