Hyperbole # 24 by Jennifer Wardell

For breakfast we had oatmeal which was good,
either that or I must have been hungry,
usually the meals aren't that great, the food
is too cold or stale, the oatmeal runny.

But today the oatmeal was cooked until
it had the consistency of dough or
pudding, she also gave enough to fill
my stomach and I didn't ask for more.

When oatmeal is cooked right it's a better
meal than eggs and bacon, I'm just kidding,
but it's up there, it makes my mouth wetter
than corn flakes and is a great beginning

To my day. I hope they continue to
cook the oatmeal right, if they don't I'll sue.
